Virtual Bike Tour of Baseball Sites - Wichita Kansas

I've really been slacking off this year at the gym. It's just been one thing after another. But at least I reached another city, Wichita Kansas. I was kind of disappointed in the baseball talent from Wichita. Wichita is a fairly good sized city (about 344,000 people) founded in 1870. You'd think they would have produced at least one star. But all I could find were a couple of Phillies. And Phorgotten Phillies at that.1987 Topps #471 Ronn Reynolds
Ronn was a 5th round draft pick of the Mets in 1980. He came to the Phillies in a trade with the Mets in 1986. He played 43 games for the Phillies in 1986 as a backup catcher before being traded in April 1987 to the Astros.

1989 Topps Traded Larry McWilliams
McWilliams had a 12 year career as a relief pitcher. He was signed by the Phillies in January 1989 as a free agent and traded to the Royals in September 1989. He was 2-11 with 2 saves for the largely phorgetable Phillies of 1989.
