Bees!

The Astros used to be called "The Killer Bees" when they had Bagwell, Biggio, Bell and others but today the Astros were held up by bees. With 2 outs in the top of the ninth, with the Astros leading 6-1, the game was delayed for 52 minutes because a swarm of bees descended on the chair of the left field ball girl.



Eventually they got a guy in a bee keeper's outfit to save the day. He gingerly approached the jacket (by now most of the bees were well up into the jacket), gently lifted the edge of the jacket and blasted them with bug spray. The Astros won 7-2.
