Eagles to NFC Championship Game

The Eagles beat the Giants 23-11. It was a great defensive struggle but in the end, the Eagles defense prevailed. They held the Giants to one field goal in the 2nd half, stopped them twice on 4th down, and put the game away with a late game interception on one Giants possession and a fumble recovery on another. One oddity. According to the broadcast team, this was the first game in NFL history to end in a score of 23-11. The Giants had 11 points on 3 field goals and a safety.Donovan McNabb gets a touchdown on a 1-yard run.
Asante Samuel gets another key playoff interception.
Akers had 3 field goals to extend his record of 18 straight field goals in post season play.
