It's got its share of cliches but for every tired cliche which follows through, there's another which gets turned on its head. I think it's a sure nominee for Best Picture and Best Director. Kidman and Jackman have a shot at Best Actress and Best Actor.

We loved this movie.

is it a musical??
No, not a musical. The last movie Kidman did with the director was Moulin Rouge which was a musical (which I loved). Kidman sings over the closing credits. There's also a new Elton John song after that.
