Random Phillies cards of the Week

I thought I'd interrupt endless trade posts with some random Phillies. Enjoy.

1950s-1970s: 1978 Topps #513 Barry FooteBarry had 57 at bats for the Phillies in 1978, hitting .158. He was a back-up catcher for most of his career. He managed to get one AB against the Dodgers in the NLCS but struck-out.

1980s: 1987 Fleer Glossy #171 Don CarmanThe Phillies were 80-82 in 1987. They finished 15 games behind the Cardinals who went on to lose the World Series to the Twins. Carman finished the season 13-11, with a 4.22 ERA.

1990s: 1996 Bazooka #16 Heathcliff SlocumbIn 1995, Slocumb was an All-Star and saved 32 games for the Phillies. After the season, the Phils traded him to the Red Sox for Glenn Murray, Ken Ryan and Lee Tinsley.

2000s: 2006 Topps Heritage #471 Ryan MadsonMadson started 17 games for the Phillies in 2006 and appeared in another 33. He finished the year with an 11-9 record and two saves. He's been only a reliever since.
