2004 Topps Cracker Jack Box Break Part 3

Continued from last week. Here is the second stack which had 6 packs. Cards in bold font are cards I didn't already have.

Pack #1
Mini Red #127 Randy Winn, Mariners #60 Richie Sexson, Diamondbacks, short print
#234 Mike Mussina, Yankees, reverse back
#86 Bert Shotton, St. Louis Browns

This another replica of the original 2004 set. There are 2 versions of this card. I have 3 copies of this version. I don't know what team he's with on the other version as I can't find this guy in Baseball Reference.com
#162 Wes Helms, Twins #66 Nap Lajoie, Indians

Last week I mentioned that there were two versions of this card. Here's the other.
#123 Matt Morris, Cardinals
#199 Estee Harris, Yankees. I think I have every version of this card now except for the white mini

Burt Shotton played for the St. Louis Browns, the Washington Senators and then back to St. Louis for the Cardinals.

Then he managed in Philadelphia, Cincinnati and then Brooklyn.

His first name can be found spelled as Burt or Bert and his last name can be found spelled as Shotton or Shotten.

Player Record

Managerial Record

His professional relationship with baseball spanned 6 decades (1909-1950).

I thought that may have been Burt Shotton.

I love the Cracker Jack rundown.

Mark,

Thanks for the tip on Shotten (Shotton). I hadn't thought to try an alternate spelling on baseball-reference.com. He had a pretty long career. Started playing in 1908 and his last managerial year was 1950, although he had a long gap in his managerial career. 1 game with the Reds in 1934 and then picked up again with the Dodgers from 1947-1950.
